About us
At Wild Garden Expert, our mission is more than just growing plants – we want to inspire, educate, and empower you to create enchanting wild gardens that not only look stunning but also foster biodiversity, sustainability, and natural beauty. We’re here to help you transform your outdoor spaces into thriving ecosystems where native plants, wildlife, and people can coexist harmoniously.
Our website has grown from a humble beginning, and we now offer a wide variety of features, including general garden advice, design inspiration, and fun children’s gardening activities. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, there’s something here for you.
We put a lot of love, time, and effort into keeping our site up to date. Though it does require investment in web domains, hosting, and maintenance, we’re committed to providing valuable resources for all garden enthusiasts. To help support our site, we use affiliate links, advertising, and sell some charming merchandise that we think you’ll love.
Having worked in horticulture for a number of years, our passion truly blossomed when we moved into our family home in the north-east of England in July 2017. We were amazed by the various wildlife that visited our garden – from hedgehogs and deer to foxes. Since then, it’s become a quest to create a garden that supports wildlife, increases biodiversity, and serves as the perfect outdoor family space.
We’re not afraid to admit that we’ve made our fair share of mistakes in the garden. But through trials and errors, we’ve learnt a lot. Now, our greatest joy comes from helping others like you create your own enchanting outdoor spaces that welcome wildlife. Whether you’re looking to attract butterflies, birds, or even the occasional fox, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Why not join our green-fingered community? With the Wild Garden Expert Newsletter, you’ll receive seasonal gardening tips, recommendations, and inspiration straight to your inbox. From novice gardeners to seasoned experts, there’s something for everyone.
Together, we’ll grow gardens that not only look beautiful but also contribute to the well-being of our local ecosystems.
